Santa Claus has arrived at Walt Disney World Disney Springs, and the jolly old elf is anxious to hear the wish lists of all the good little boys and girls visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Santa’s Chalet has landed in a new location this year and is now situated near the Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop by World of Disney. Like last year, Guests can check in at the podium to join a virtual queue. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a pager from one of Santa’s Helpers. You’ll then be notified when it’s time to take your place in line. Return to the podium within 10 minutes for your visit with Santa!

While you wait, you can shop, dine, or simply enjoy holiday décor and festivities throughout Disney Springs!

Santa will be greeting guests daily through December 24, 12pm – 10pm. (Santa Goofy takes over December 25-29 during the same hours.) If you have Disney’s Memory Maker Package, your PhotoPass Photos with Santa are included. Of course, Santa’s always willing to smile for a selfie, too! To see the latest Disney Springs holiday happenings, follow @DisneySprings on Twitter and our brand-new Instagram account—be sure to use hashtag “#DisneySprings” for your chance to be featured.

Today’s Takeaway:
Make Mickey Mouse-inspired cookies for Santa. I know! It’s not quite time to leave them out yet, but see, you need to make a practice batch and sample them so you know you’ve got the recipe right for the Big Guy 😉

I found these decorations on my friend Linda’s Pinterest page. We used the Betty Crocker brand sugar cookie mix, rolled them out, and used our Mickey Mouse cookie cutter to create the shapes. Once the cookies cooled, we used Wilton icing and candy decorations for details. Follow our example, or create designs of your own! We’d love to see your pictures, so please stop by our Facebook page and share!
