Have you started your holiday shopping? Looking for that perfect Christmas gift? Searching for a one-of-a-kind keepsake to commemorate your Disney vacation? You’re sure to find what you’re looking for at Walt Disney World Disney Springs’ 48 shops!

From intimate boutiques to stunning flagship locations, Disney Springs will be home to over 150 offerings from Disney and other noteworthy brands. (Disney Parks FAQ)

Disney Springs has an assortment of shopping choices to suit anyone’s taste, from the savvy surf style of Curl by Sammy Duval to the funky foot fashion of LittleMissMatched and everything in between. You can create your own T-shirt at Disney’s Design-A-Tee, satisfy your sweet tooth at Goofy’s Candy Company, create to your heart’s content at The Lego Store, or stock your kitchen at Mickey’s Pantry. At Disney Springs, you can find your Disney fashion at Tren-D, flaunt your wild side at Orlando Harley-Davidson, get those left-handers something special at Lefty’s–The Left Hand Store, and of course, walk through a wonderland of Disney delight at World of Disney.

Here are a few more stores to explore: Arribas Brothers, The Art of Shaving (yes, shaving!), Basin, Build-A-Dino by Build-A-Bear Workshop, Cirque Du Soleil Boutique, Disney’s Days of Christmas (where it’s Christmas yearround!), Fit2Run, Markeplace Co-op, and Once Upon a Toy. As noted above, there will eventually be more than 150 offerings, as many more venues complete construction as part of the re-branding expansion.

Explore economics. Pop over to Our Journey Westward for some great resources that introduce and delve further into the topic of economics, covering all skill levels from elementary through high school.

The author states that with her own children, “In the earliest years, our family starts with chores, allowance and a saving/spending/giving model; we teach them the hard work and satisfaction of saving for big ticket items; and we make sure there are lots of opportunities for giving with joy.  As opportunities present themselves, we introduce economics vocabulary into our conversations.” She includes literature, quizzes, and other learning activities to engage your kids in this lesson.
